THE PROGRAM AN OVERVIEW:

The increasing demands for high quality cosmetic dentistry makes it essential for the practioners to update themselves on the material science and the practical techniques to meet the patient needs. This program on cosmetic dentistry has been carefully crafted for practioners to incorporate cosmetic dentistry as an integarl part of his / her practice. This clinically oriented curriculum is presented in an best possible educational environment, which makes learning exciting and effective. The academy is equipped with all latest equipments and materials of International Standards.

Lectures, demonstrations and hands on workshop are planned in such a way that the participants will be able to effectively incorporate the learnt techniques in their day to day practice. The program will also include – discussions and evaluations which will enhance the most effective interchange of knowledge.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS :

The program is designed for a maximum of 10 participants only to enable personalize interaction and attention.

The program consist of 3 modules – total 10 days spread over 5 months, giving time to implement what is learnt.

The program will consist of lectures, demonstrations, hands on workshops with interactive evaluation.

The program is structured in a logical sequence to master the art and science of cosmetic dentistry.

Lectures will be closely paired with hands on sessions required for different clinical scenario’s.

BRIEF GLANCE OF THE MODULES

Module 1 : Mastering composite Artistry | Duration : 3 days

• Introduction to the field of cosmetic dentistry
• Adhesive dentistry
• Material advancements and instrumentation
• Shade Matching and shade mapping for composites
• Clinical techniques on Diastema Closure, class III and masking of stains with hands on
• Tips for successful Class II restorations with hands on
• Detailed training on Class IV restoration with finishing and polishing secrets – hands on
• At the end of the program participants will be able to do restorations that blend perfectly with the existing dentition, the first step in cosmetic dentistry

Module 2 : Excellence in Ceramics | Duration : 3 days

• Complete in and out of ceramics will be dealt in this module. This includes metals ceramics and complete overview on All Ceramics.
• Theory of ceramics and lab processing and choice of materials will be dealt in detail.
• Shade matching in ceramics.
• Visit to a dental Lab to get the insight of step by step processing of Ceramics, esp CAD CAM
• All ceramic anterior and posterior crown prep with hands on
• All ceramic anterior and posterior crown prep with hands on
• Laminate theory and technique with hands on
• Temprorization theory and hands on
• Cementation for all ceramics with hands on
• At the end of the program participants will be able to choose the right material and do a practically invisible restorations that is required on day to basis.

Module 3 : Smile Designing | Duration : 4 Days

• Once the participants are thorough with regular procedures and mastered them, they will be taken to the next level in this module. The participants will be working under magnification, 2.5X loupes.
• Smile design principles and practice will be dealt in detail
• Orientation to magnification with loupes
• Introduction to digital dentistry and dental photography
• Bleaching
• Composite veneering for smile designing cases with hands on
• Ceramic veneering for smile designing cases with hands on
• Temprorization and cementation hands on
• Functional rehabilitation and its importance in the success of cosmetic restorations and introduction to full mouth rehabilitation
• Demo and hands on face bow transfer
• Introduction to accreditation programme of AACD
• Practice building the inside secrets and closing comments
• The modules will be with a gap of one month, during this time interval the participants are requested to implement what they have learnt come back with pictures and doubts for discussion to learn more.

For International Deligates: 2000 USD
